KukkeSubramanya is a Hindu temple located in the village of Subramanya, Karnataka Here Kartikeya is worshipped as Subramanya, lord of all serpents.

Karkala is best known for the gigantic statue of Gomateshwara which has a height of 42 feet and is an important site of pilgrimage for Jains from all over the world. Karkala also has about 18 Jain basadi’s.It also has a number of Hindu temples, mosques and churches.

Moodabidri is best known for its Jain heritage. Jainism was and is widely practiced in Moodabidri. There are several other Jain temples situated in the town of Moodabidri such as the Leppada Basadi, the Ammanvara Basadi, the Guru Basadi, and others.
